Sorenson Revamps VP Booth at Gallaudet

Last month Sorenson and Gallaudet leaders and staff ceremoniously reopened Sorenson’s space at the I. King Jordan Student Academic Center after a remodel.

The space features two spacious VP booths that are fully accessible, including wide entrances for wheelchairs. (Left image.) There are also tables of various sizes for students and visitors to work at or use for phone calls on mobile devices or computers.

Students and visitors also have a bright visual to welcome them: a new mural on one wall showing two young adults communicating via ASL. (Right image. Courtesy of Gallaudet University.)

This space is freely available for all students and visitors to Gallaudet. Enjoy!
