Social Media Giveaway Official Rules & Conditions

Sorenson Communications, LLC (“Sorenson”) is conducting this giveaway.

1. 1. Prize. The giveaway prize is an Apple iPad (the “Prize”). The Prize is offered “as is” with no written, express or implied warranty. The retail value of the Apple iPad is approximately $350. The Prize is not exchangeable or transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and must be accepted as awarded. Your receipt of the Prize may result in taxable income to you. You are solely responsible for any income or other taxes in connection with winning the Prize. Please consult your tax advisor for more information.
   2. Eligibility. Except where regulated or restricted by law, this giveaway is open to residents of the 50 United States and D.C., who are 18 years of age and older and an existing Sorenson VRS customer as of June 3, 2026 except for employees of Sorenson its affiliates, subsidiaries, and agencies and members of their immediate family or persons living in the same household. Your participation in the giveaway is voluntary. There is no purchase necessary to enter this giveaway or win the Prize. Sorenson reserves the right to ask for proof of age and identity, to determine eligibility and to deny the award of the Prize at its sole discretion.  All federal, state, municipal, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.   You acknowledge that you do not have to, currently or in the future, use or purchase any Sorenson products or services to be eligible to enter into this giveaway or to win the Prize. You acknowledge and represent that you were not pressured or coerced into registering or using any Sorenson products or services in exchange for your participation in the giveaway or winning the Prize.
   3. Personal Data; Publicity. Information submitted in connection with the giveaway will be treated in accordance with these Official Rules & Conditions and Sorenson’s privacy policy (as may be amended from time to time), currently available at https://sorenson.com/legal/sorenson-communications-privacy-policy/.   You understand and agree that if you are a Prize winner, your name, image and likeness in video or photographic images may be used in Sorenson’s promotions, promotional materials and publicity efforts, including (but not limited to) print media and the internet. If you do not agree to your name, image and likeness being used, you should not enter the raffle/prize giveaway.
   4. How to Enter. The entry period for this giveaway will be from June 3, 2026 at 10:35 am (MDT) through June 10, 2026 at 10:35 am. (MDT).  To enter, an eligible individual must submit a comment on our giveaway post (on Facebook or Instagram) explaining why they love Sorenson or their favorite Sorenson feature.  Up to 3 additional entries are permitted for:
      • Sharing the giveaway post to their story on Facebook or Instagram and tagging Sorenson (1 bonus entry).
      • Posting a video to Facebook or Instagram explaining why they love Sorenson and tagging Sorenson (1 bonus entry).
      • Tagging a friend in the comment of the giveaway post on Facebook or Instagram (1 bonus entry).  

See Section 5 below for Alternative Method of Entry. Any entry received after the entry period will be void. By entering this giveaway, You represent and warrant that your entry is an original work of authorship, and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If your entry infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, You will be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sorenson. If the content of your entry is claimed to constitute infringement of any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party, You shall, at your sole expense, defend or settle against such claims. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sorenson from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs or expense, which Sorenson may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement of any third party’s right.

Alternate Method of Entry.  You may also enter the giveaway by sending a 4 X 6 postcard or letter with the name of the giveaway, your first and last name, email address, and home address to be contacted at, to: Sorenson Communications, LLC, Attention: Social Media Team, 4192 Riverboat Rd., Salt Lake City, UT 84123. You may enter up to the maximum entries allowed in the giveaway as follows:
      • Mail-in with all information required above (1 entry)
      • Explain in your mail-in why you love Sorenson (1 entry)
      • Mention your favorite Sorenson feature in your mail-in (1 entry)
      • Sign your mail-in (1 entry)

Be sure to mail your entry at least 5 days prior to the end of the giveaway entry period described above in Section 4. Mailed entries received after the end of the giveaway entry period will not be entered into the giveaway.  All entries become the property of the Sorenson and will not be returned.

6. Winner Selection. Within 7 days after the entry period, Sorenson will conduct a random drawing from all eligible entries during the entry period to select one potential winner.  Sorenson expressly reserves the right to delay the announcement of the potential winner for any reason Sorenson deems necessary. Sorenson’s decisions shall be final and binding in all matters pertaining to the giveaway.  Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received as of the date and time of the drawing. The winner will be announced on Sorenson’s Facebook and Instagram accounts. 
7. Winner notification and Verification. The potential winner will be notified promptly following selection either via the Facebook Message, Instagram Message and/or at the email, mailing address or phone number provided on their VRS account. It is an entrant’s responsibility to keep the contact information listed on their VRS account accurate.

   The potential winner will be awarded the applicable Prize subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules & Conditions. If the potential winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within seventy-two (72) hours after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, Sorenson may select, in Sorenson’s sole and absolute discretion, an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from the remaining non-winning, eligible entries. Sorenson has no obligation to select an alternate potential winner.
   The potential winner will be required by Sponsor to complete and return a Publicity Release (“Release”) within seven (7) days from the first attempted notification (unless prohibited by law). The Release will be sent to the potential prize winner via the email address provided on the potential winner’s VRS account. Entry into the giveaway constitutes agreement to sign such Release. Failure to complete the Release within the seven (7) days will result in forfeiture of the Prize. In the event of non-compliance with these Official Rules, or if the Prize is unclaimed or returned as deliverable, the Prize will be forfeited.

   Sorenson, at its sole and absolute discretion, may award a forfeited Prize to an alternate potential winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Within forty-eight (48) hours of the secondary drawing, the alternate potential winner will be contacted as noted above. If the alternate potential winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within seventy-two (72) hours after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, the alternate potential winner may be disqualified, forfeiting the Prize, in Sorenson’s sole and absolute discretion. Sorenson retains the right to repeat this process until an alternate potential winner complies with the verification of eligibility requirements. Sorenson has no obligation to select an alternate potential winner.

8. Social media Disclaimer. You agree and acknowledge, as a condition of participating in the giveaway, that Facebook® Inc. and Instagram, LLC and their owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, parents, subsidiaries, attorneys, insurers, and associated corporations and entities (individually and collectively referred to herein as the “Social Networking Sites” or “SNS”) do not sponsor, endorse, or administer, nor are they in any way associated with, the giveaway. As a condition of participating in the giveaway, you further acknowledge and agree that you shall release the SNS from any and all liability arising out of or relating to your participation in the giveaway, or entrant’s acceptance, use, or misuse of a Prize. All questions regarding the giveaway must be directed to Sorenson, not SNS.
9. General Conditions. Sorenson reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the giveaway should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Sorenson’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the giveaway. In such case, Sorenson may select the winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sorenson. Sorenson reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the giveaway or SNS or violates these Official Rules & Conditions. Sorenson has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the giveaway, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by giveaway rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Sorenson reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction. The giveaway shall be governed by the laws of the State of Utah. By participating in the giveaway, the entrants agree that the state and federal courts located in Salt Lake City, Utah shall have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute arising out of or relating to this giveaway.
11. Liability. BY ENTERING THE RAFFLE/PRIZE GIVEAWAY, YOU WAIVE ALL CLAIMS AND RIGHTS, INCLUDING ANY RIGHT OF PRIOR APPROVAL AND RELEASE AND DISCHARGE SORENSON AND ITS AFFILIATE (INCLUDING THEIR RESPECTIVE PAST, PRESENT OR FUTURE EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, ATTORNEYS, BOARD MEMBERS, AGENTS, ASSIGNEES OR REPRESENTATIVES (INDIVIDUALLY AND/OR COLLECTIVELY “SORENSON REPRESENTATIVES”) FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LIABILITY , DEMANDS, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ATTORNEY’S FEES) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR PARTICIPATING IN THE GIVEAWAY OR WINNING ANY PRIZE, YOUR ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE, OR SORENSON’S USE OF YOUR NAME, IMAGE AND LIKENESS, AND YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD SORENSON REPRESENTATIVES HARMLESS FROM ANY AND ALL LOSSES, DAMAGES, RIGHTS, CLAIMS, AND ACTIONS OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM, IN CONNECTION WITH, OR AS A RESULT OF YOUR PARTICIPATING IN THE GIVEAWAY OR YOUR ACCEPTANCE OR USE OF ANY PRIZES. YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY CLAIM AGAINST SORENSON ARISING OUT OF THE RAFFLE/PRIZE GIVEAWAY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE VALUE OF THE PRIZE YOU HAVE WON. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE SORENSON REPRESENTATIVES BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY PARTY FOR ANY LOSS OR INJURIES TO EARNINGS, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, OR FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
