Historic Deaf Influencers by Erik Jensen
Sorenson Communications commissioned Erik Jensen to create “Historic Deaf Influencers”, an original 51” by 76” art mosaic using 7350 keyboard keys dyed different colors. The Power of ASL by David Call
“The Power of ASL” is a black-and-white linocut print by David Call. David said, “It is the power of ASL that created Deaf community with a strong identity. It is the power of ASL that gives us beautiful natural sign language. It is the power of ASL that allows us to be artistically creative with storytelling, A to Z storytelling, and poetry telling. It is the power of ASL that enables us to stand up for our rights. It is the power of ASL that made us who we are.”In Appreciation of Sorenson from Iris Aranda and DeafNation
In Appreciation of Sorenson” is a collage of images in various media, including pen/pencil and watercolor. Signed by the artist, Iris Aranda, and members of DeafNation, including Joel Barish.

SVRS Champ by Nancy Rourke
Nancy Rourke gave Sorenson this original acrylic painting, “SVRS Champ”, in appreciation of Sorenson Video Relay Services. Nancy Rourke is an internationally known Deaf artist who has done artist-in-residences at Deaf schools nationwide.NAD: A Growing Democracy by Susan Dupor
“NAD: A Growing Democracy” in its original form is a triptych (three panels) mural Susan Dupor created for the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) in 2015. The work gives a visual representation of the NAD’s 134 years’ of accomplishments in Deaf history at that time. A print of the whole image hangs in Sorenson’s headquarters.

Dance with Me by Kendra Frazie
The painting “Dance with Me” shows several dynamic figures dancing. Kendra Frazier submitted it in one of our art competitions for Deaf students.Defining Moments in Deaf History by Sorenson
Sorenson employees created this poster of 13 defining moments in Deaf history for Deaf Awareness Month in 2012 and distributed copies to Deaf schools and organizations.

Gallaudet Photo Collage 1911-1918 by Sorenson
In 2018, Sorenson facilitated the donation of photographs from 1911–1918 to Gallaudet’s Archives. In commemoration, our employees created this photo collage using copies of the photographs.Colorful Friends by Anthony Dixon
Anthony Dixon submitted “Colorful Friends” to one of our art competitions for Deaf students. It shows several sets of hands signing the title in hands painted different colors on the top row and blended on the bottom row to represent how we can mix and be friends.
