Register to Use Sorenson VRS Abroad
If you meet the FCC requirements and submit the form below, you can use Sorenson VRS while traveling outside the United States.
VRS travel details to know
If you are a Sorenson VRS customer and want access to video relay service (VRS) while traveling outside the United States, the FCC requires you to pre-register your travel dates and the countries where you will travel.
Pre-registration deadline
To pre-register through our VRS international travel form, you must submit the form at least one day before leaving the United States.
Voucher length
Your trip voucher is valid for up to one year (365 days).
Longer travel
For international VRS access past one year, you must submit an extension request to the FCC. Contact the FCC to extend your International Travel Waiver at (844) 432-2275 (VP) or email [email protected].
Requests after leaving
If you leave the country without pre-registering with Sorenson through the form, you need to contact the FCC to get the waiver and email it to Sorenson Customer Care to use Sorenson VRS.
