Does it cost anything to use Sorenson Video Relay?
No. Sorenson Video Relay and all other Video Relay Service providers are available at no cost to consumers.
How is Video Relay Service (VRS) funded?
All VRS companies are compensated through the same Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS) Fund established by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Sorenson receives compensation from the TRS Fund for each minute of interpreting for VRS calls.
Can I use Sorenson VRS for Zoom calls?
Yes! We created a guide to Zoom meetings with Sorenson VRS to walk you through how to get a Sorenson interpreter in your virtual meetings.
What products can I use for Sorenson Video Relay?
You can use Sorenson Video Relay with all of our products. You can also use Sorenson Video Relay with products from other Video Relay Service providers.

How do emergency 911 calls work through Sorenson Relay?
When you call 911 through VRS, we’ll move your call to the front of the line. When you tell the interpreter your emergency, they’ll ask your location so you can confirm you’re either at your home address or you’re away from home. They will relay information between you and the emergency services, staying on the line with you until you get help.
How do I set up a myPhone group?

Do I need a Sorenson account to use Sorenson Video Relay?
Yes, you must have a Sorenson account to use Sorenson Video Relay. However, once you sign up for a Sorenson VRS number, you can make a call to a hearing person through Sorenson Video Relay using any product, even products from other VRS providers.
