Keeping CaptionCall in the Family

Julia’s husband started working with CaptionCall first and suggested that Julia would like working with us, too. She says, “It took a few weeks to convince me but once I went to the assessment, I knew this was the job for me.”
Julia says she has learned a lot from the stories and life experiences of CaptionCall users during her 11 years as a captioning agent and that it’s the best part of her job. “I’ve heard it all. Good news, bad news, gossip, rants, catching up, and a good heaping of customer service.”
With over a decade of experience as a captioning agent, Julia’s family has seen a fair amount of change while also proving things can stay the same. “I’ve grown all five of my kids during my tenure and have gone from a newlywed to a seasoned mom… My husband still works here, too. He’s an operations coordinator.” Since Julia works from home, she says having a cozy home office away from the “chaos” of her young family helps her to do her best work.
